Meet Andrew

The Certified Groomer Behind the Name

Andrew founded Arizona Pawfection after more than five years in professional grooming, with a simple standard: every dog leaves looking show-ready and feeling safe. He holds the AKC Curly Coat Type Certification — the credential that matters most for poodles and doodles — plus a Mobile Groomer Certification for house-call grooming across the Valley.

He doesn’t just groom for clients, either. Andrew competes at professional grooming competitions like CPPGA CaliGroom, where groomers are judged on breed-standard scissor work under time pressure. That competition discipline shows up in every pet groom at the salon: straighter lines, better balance, and a finish most shops simply can’t match.

A Calm Salon in the Heart of North Phoenix

You’ll find us at 4613 E Cactus Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032 — at Cactus and Tatum, an easy drive from Paradise Valley Village, Shea corridor, and the Scottsdale border. The salon is intentionally small and quiet: professional tables, a proper bathing station, and none of the barking chaos of high-volume shops.
